Humid Tropical or Coastal Tropical
- The climate is predominant in the Zona da Mata area, which comprises the strip of land that extends from Rio Grande do Norte to the south of Bahia.
- Its main feature is a hot and humid summer with high temperatures ranging from 25 to 31 degrees throughout the year.
- And season with irregular rainfall, between the months of April to July, with average annual rainfall between 2,000 and 3,000 millimeters.
semi-arid tropical
- The semi-arid tropical climate is predominant in the Northeast Region of Brazil, in the center of the territory. Takes place part of the state of Piauí, in the Middle North and part of the Zona do Sertão, in the states of Ceará, Rio Grande do Norte, Paraíba, Pernambuco, Sergipe and Bahia.
- AIt has low humidity, with average temperatures around 27 and 31 degrees, reaching 41 degrees in long dry periods.
- The rains are rare, with a rainfall index of less than 700 millimeters per year, and may occur between the months of April and May.
- The lowest average annual rainfall in Brazil is recorded in Cabaceiras, in the interior of Paraíba, with only 278.1 millimeters.
- O Drought Polygon It is a region of the northeastern semi-arid region. It presents several aridity indices, with extremely dry areas, typical of semi-desert.
Tropical
- Tropical is one of the predominant climates of the Northeast Region. It comprises a large part of Maranhão, Piauí, Ceará and Bahia.

- Summer is hot and rainy, with high temperatures.
- Winter is dry, with prolonged drought and average temperature between 18 and 26 degrees. The rainfall in the region varies between 1,000 and 1,750 millimeters.
Wet Equatorial
- Predominant climate in the narrow strip of the border between the state of Maranhão and the state of Pará, which is located in the North Region.
- The main aspect of Humid Equatorial climate are the high average temperatures between 25 and 27 degrees and large amounts of rain throughout the year, with a rainfall index of 2,000 to 3,000 millimeters.
