Security company discovers malicious apps
The four dangerous apps available on Android that Google permanently banned were discovered by security firm Pradeo, which revealed its latest findings in a blog post online.
Thus, malicious apps with the Joker malware, which function as droppers, were discovered by the company and were available for download from the Google Play store. Together, they have been installed by over 100,000 users.

Pradeo stated that the ability to read passwords is a very dangerous feature shared by the Blood Pressure and Smart SMS Messages apps. According to experts, the latter steals these codes by taking screenshots, while the former accesses the content through the notification.
