Colors and personality types
For psychologists, there are five main personality types that help define and understand a person's character traits. They are known as: openness, conscientiousness, extroversion, agreeableness, and neuroticism.
According to Monica Vermani, psychologist and author of A Deeper Wellness: Conquering Stress, Mood, Anxiety and Traumas, categories provide a point of reference for people to understand their behaviors, attitudes, and ways of think. Know the characteristics of the personalities:
- Openness: creative and adventurous who are willing to take risks, eager for new experiences;
- Conscience: attentive, controlled, observant and very objective;
- Extroversion: talkative, emotionally expressive, like to receive a lot of attention and are energized;
- Affability: kind, reliable, cooperative and empathetic;
- Neuroticism: are tense and tend to have negative thinking.
Colors that suit every personality

Opening
If you fall into this category, it is very likely that you are open to taking risks and are looking for new adventures. The colors that suit you best are the brightest and most saturated, like reds, yellows and oranges.
Conscience
They are known to be more organized and better structured. They are people who work on organizational skills and are attentive to details. They often choose cool, earthy tones like watery blues.
Extroversion
If you're known as the one in the group who interacts the most and can't sit still, you're probably an extrovert and identify with the extraversion trait. This personality type can make two pleasant choices. Cool, neutral colors like white. But in case you feel more expressive, a red, chartreuse green or yellow.
affability
A courteous, cooperative and pleasant fellow. These are the features of this personality. The type of color that best suits her can vary between classic, cold or warm and strong tones. such as green, blue, mushroom white, soft browns, gray and any variety of the neutral.
neuroticism
If you tend to be stressed and anxious, it's better to opt for options that bring you more calm. See those tones that recede into the background, like the blues and greens. They bring a lull and provoke a feeling of relaxation, which is important for this group.
