Japan has the passport considered one of the best in the world in 2023

Every quarter, the Henley Passport Index publishes a list of the countries with the strongest passports in the world and, this Tuesday, 10, a list of the most powerful documents from around the world for 2023 was launched, and the one that occupied the first place in this ranking was O Japan, for the fifth consecutive year. As mentioned, the Henley Passport Index released a list of the countries with the best passports in the world in 2023 and Japan took the top spot for its fifth consecutive year. The Japanese passport allows Japanese people to enjoy 193 destinations around the world without a visa.

According to Forbes, the second place on that list went to South Korea and Singapore. The passports of these places allow the visit of 192 destinations without visas. Germany and Spain took third place, nationalities that allow visiting 190 destinations without the need for a visa.

Brazil, on the other hand, had a certain rate of decay, since, last year, it was in 19th place on the list, and, this year, it is in 20th place. Therefore, it only allows 170 destinations to be visited without the need for a visa. However, Argentina is also in that same position, so it also gives access to 170 countries without the need for a visa.

Afghanistan is in last place on the list, with only 27 countries that can be visited without the need for a visa. Right above Afghanistan is Iraq, with only 29 destinations that can be visited without an issued permit. Then we have Serbia, with 30 countries. Next, we have Pakistan, with 32 destinations, and Yemen, with 34 free destinations to be visited.

  3. Somalia (35 destinations);
  4. Yemen (34 destinations);

  8. Afghanistan (27 destinations).
