Called the Pregnant Composition Benefit (BGC), government leaders believe that the program will add a lot to the family income at a more delicate moment in the lives of these women. Through it, millions of Brazilian women will benefit, but it is necessary to follow some rules to receive payments. Are they:
- Full name of the pregnant woman;
- Date of birth;
- Service date;
- Pregnancy status;
- CNS number;
- CPF number;
- Gestational age;
- Probable date of termination of pregnancy (42 weeks after LMP);
- DUM;
- Baseline reference date.
When will women be contemplated?
According to the Ministry of Citizenship, women who want to be part of the program can receive the benefit in any month of pregnancy. Furthermore, women who have had an abortion, for whatever reason, will continue to receive payments. However, the government limits the amount paid to only one pregnancy within a period of one year.
Including, more than two women in the same family may be contemplated. The payment dates, according to the Federal Government, will be made according to the calendar that follows the NIS number and payment dates for the Brazil Aid.
How will pregnant women be selected?
Pregnant women will be selected through the Unified Health System (SUS) with the support of the Ministry of Health. For this, the selection will take place with the help of two systems:
- The first will be done with the support of the health system, where some data will be collected based on the needs of each woman.
- The second will be done with a survey of women registered in the Health Information System for Primary Care (SISAB).
