Netflix launches completely free subscription plan

Users who opt for the free way to use Netflix will have some limitations. The catalog will be greatly reduced, in addition to limiting the number of seasons and episodes of the series. However, no payment information will be required in order to participate in the promotion.

The platform reported that almost a quarter of its list of movies and series is available for the free version. The data was released by The Verge.

One of the goals of Netflix, in its Kenyan version, is to get more subscribers over time. When experiencing the advantages of the platform, users should try to formally subscribe.

Readjustments

Since 2019, Netflix tuition has not been readjusted, but recently that changed. The monthly fees have changed in the last month for Brazilians.

On the other hand, authorial productions and authorized reproductions increased in volume and quality. This is the company's justification for explaining the reason for the tariff increase.

Check out the price list announced by Netflix recently:

– Basic Plan: BRL 25.90 (the previous price was BRL 21.90). The increase suffered was 18.2%;

– Standard Plan: BRL 39.90 (the previous price was BRL 32.90). The increase suffered was 21.2%;

– Premium Plan: BRL 55.90 (the previous price was BRL 45.90). The increase suffered was 21.7%.

In a note, Netflix said that “we will continue to offer the best content, between movies and series, in addition to a wide variety of genres […]. We offer several plans, starting at R$25.90 per month, so that people can choose a price that suits their needs”.

It is worth noting that Netflix is ​​still the largest subscription streaming service in the country. Brazilians have a special taste for the productions and products offered on the platform.
