Through new resources, the state-owned company has been bringing the idea of replacing some vehicles with vehicles, thus continuing until 2023. It is worth remembering that, last year, Correios received 1,505 vans, which represents an investment of R$ 93 million. Furthermore, the shelf life of a motorcycle used in the company is equivalent to three years, while vans and trucks have a lifespan of between 7 and 10 years.
This great result comes from an operation carried out by the Post Office, in order to reduce the number of cars unusable, improving the disposal process and making it simpler and exercising more activities. One of these processes is an electronic platform, responsible for the sale of these stagnant vehicles, allowing more participation by interested parties and not requiring their physical presence at the time of purchase.
Auction
Finally, later this year, the Post Office will hold a mega auction, containing around 6,000 vehicles for sale. The invitation to participate is available at state-owned website and the event will take place through the platform "Bids-e“. In addition, the company makes clear some restrictions for those who want to participate, accepting individuals and legal entities.
