Lottery winner dresses up to receive prize
Winning the lottery is the dream of many people, and while some want to tell everyone that they are millionaires, others prefer to remain silent. So the latter is the case for this lottery winner.
The case took place in southern China, and the man, whose pseudonym is called Li, went to collect the prize dressed as a cartoon character. This lottery winner's goal was to hide money from his wife and son to prevent them from becoming lazy and carefree!
Li bought 40 lottery tickets with the same seven numbers, matched them all and won BRL 3.85 million for each ticket. The purchase of tickets took place on October 20th and the lottery winner picked up his prize 4 days later, on October 24th.
The man reported that he traveled by train and stayed in a hotel for the entire weekend, without telling anyone. Li also said not to leave the hotel room, afraid of losing the winning tickets.
Thus, on the day of receiving the award, during the ceremony of presenting the winner, Li remained in costume the entire time. As this is something we don't see every day, the image went viral on the internet and the lottery winner became famous.
Of the BRL 153 million, Li donated about BRL 3.5 million to charity, paid fees and took about BRL 120 million. Although the man still doesn't know what to do with so much money, he is sure that he doesn't want the family to become carefree and relaxed.
Therefore, the lottery winner wants his son and his wife to continue to study and work. And you? What would you do if you won so much money in the lottery?
