Ingredients

The ingredients for this recipe will be split between ingredients for the pudding itself and the ingredients for the syrup. They are all very basic ingredients for dessert, but with the benefit of not having eggs. Check out:

For the pudding:

  • 400g of sour cream;
  • 1 can of condensed milk;
  • 1 spoon (tea) of vanilla essence;
  • 500 ml of milk;
  • 1/3 cup (tea) water;
  • 24g of gelatin.

For the syrup:

  • 2 cups of sugar;
  • 1 cup (tea) of water.

Method of preparation

Without the oven, the preparation is much simpler, but it will require attention at each step so that the pudding on the platter has the right consistency. Then, start mixing the gelatine with the water, taking the mixture to the microwave, where it should stay for 20 seconds.

Now, in the blender, mix all the other pudding ingredients with the dissolved gelatin. Beat for approximately 2 to 5 minutes, until the mixture is smooth.

Then, pour this creamy mixture into the dish and place it in the fridge, letting it cool for at least 6 hours. When the pudding is ready to be removed, start making the syrup, putting the sugar and water in a pan. Then take that pan to medium fire, letting the contents boil until it becomes a golden caramel. Finally, just turn off the heat and let the caramel cool down a bit, taking care not to overcool and harden.

So, remove your pudding on the fridge platter and pour the caramel over it. Thus, you have a very tasty recipe, for which you hardly used cooking gas or had to work. Try making it at home and share the recipe with your friends!
