According to the proposal, the maximum that the beneficiary can receive is two minimum wages, that is R$ 2,424. This calculation is similar to the transfer of the 13th salary, which is used today for this specific group.

But it must be remembered that the project is still being voted on, and the text may be modified until it is sanctioned. For approval of the benefit, the proposal will still have to be voted by a Special Committee, since the Constitution and Justice Committee recommended the approval of the text.

If approved by the Special Commission, it will be sent to the Federal Senate, and if approved by the senators, it will go straight to the Planalto Palace. There, who decides to veto or sanction the project is President Jair Bolsonaro, who has not yet commented on the subject.

The 14th salary has not yet been approved, but the 13th salary is guaranteed for retirees and pensioners, and in recent years this payment has been advanced.
