Visit the biggest car factory in Latin America!

The “Inside the BMW Group Brasil” program is a partnership between the BMW Group Brasil and Serra Verde Express, which allows the incredible experience of visiting the largest BMW factory, the company that produces vehicles premium in South America. In 2014, after an investment of more than BRL 600 million, a BMW factory was inaugurated in Araquari (SC).

Starting in October, this visitation program will be available. The tour can last up to three hours, and will visit the entire plant of the Araquari factory. Visitors will get to know the automaker's day-to-day life up close and step by step in the manufacture of the brand's cars.

The visitation has the presence of a qualified guide who will detail the particularities of each phase, explaining the manufacturing steps. The highlights are the stages of bodywork, welding and vehicle assembly.

At the end of the visit, participants will be able to experience the feeling of riding a BMW on the indoor track test. This experience will be carried out together with a pilot specialized in driving.

This visit will be available to all audiences, from 10 years old onwards, and will certainly delight not only brand admirers, but also all car lovers who have always been curious to know how the vehicles are produced. For this audience, nothing better than seeing how cars from one of the most renowned brands in the world are made.

Otavio Rodacoswiski, general director of the factory in Araquari, says that opening the doors of the BMW Group factory is a source of pride. In this way, it is possible to show a little of the work and leave visitors delighted with the quality of production.

The BMW Group plant in Araquari has 1.5 million square meters, with 112,893 square meters of built area, and is located on BR-101, which gives access to the factory. In this unit, the BMW 3 Series, X1, X3 and X4 models are manufactured. The factory has the capacity to produce up to 32,000 vehicles per year, and the painting processes also take place there. bodywork, assembly, welding, quality and logistics, and there are also laboratories and the administrative and auxiliaries.
