Blooming onion recipe in AirFryer
Ingredients
- 1 large white onion;
- 1 tablespoon (soup) smoked paprika;
- 2 eggs;
- 1 cup (tea) of water;
- 1 spoon (tea) of salt;
- Breadcrumbs for breading;
- 1 cup (tea) of traditional wheat flour.
In addition, you can replace the smoked paprika with any other spice of your choice, or even spice up the recipe with something else. For example, you can try adding black pepper, which is also delicious.
Method of preparation
First, separate the onion that you will use for the recipe, remove its bottom and cut it into a “star” shape. Soon after, you will need to make the onion open and with the loosest layers. To do this, just dip this chopped onion into a pot of very cold water for 15 minutes.
And then, you will see that your onion already looks very similar to that of the restaurant, but it still needs to be seasoned and breaded. Then, add the paprika, the two eggs, the paprika and the flour in another bowl and bathe the onion with this sauce.
