history of pudding
Firstly, there is no certain story about the invention of pudding, what is known is that it may have been created by a Portuguese abbot. The curious thing was that he had this secret recipe and he didn't reveal it to people. With the great success, he created a competition to see who could make a candy like his.
No one managed to do the same, but they already had the notion of what was in the candy. So they started testing how to get to it. The recipe, however, was revealed after the abbot's death, as it was in one of his notebooks.
After the disclosure of the recipe, it began to spread all over the world. In Brazil, for example, it arrived around 1840, in “O Cozinheiro Imperial”, the first cookbook published in the country, where there was a recipe for custard pudding.

- 3 packs of jello;
- 3 cups of powdered milk;
- 450ml of hot water;
- 400ml of cold water.
Method of preparation
To prepare the two-ingredient pudding, beat the gelatine with the hot water in a blender. Then slowly add the milk, cold water and beat some more. After that, grease a form with oil and pour the mixture. Take it to the fridge for a few hours, until it reaches the ideal consistency, and then just enjoy. Enjoy!
