With inflation rising almost above 10%, the minimum wage for workers will increase significantly.
The salary increase will be implemented from January 2022 and its increase is BRL 1,210.44.
INSS readjustments
First, users of INSS benefits cannot receive an amount below the stipulated minimum wage and this obliges the INSS to make adjustments at each change.
The adjustment given by the INPC (National Consumer Price Index) is 9.1% and this ends up interfering with the INSS floor and ceiling.
So, beneficiaries of sick pay, pension for death, retirement and BPC will have a salary adjustment of R$1,200.
In addition to changing these benefits, the readjustment may also end up influencing payments such as unemployment insurance and salary bonuses.

Then, the Social Integration Program (PIS) is made for private network workers paid by Caixa Econômica Federal.
The Civil Servant Asset Formation Program (PASEP) is paid to civil servants by Banco do Brasil.
Each current month will increase by R$100.00 reais according to the time exercised in the base year.
Beneficiaries of this program will receive a salary increase of R$1,210.44, according to the national baseline.
Unemployment insurance
Finally, the Unemployment Insurance will also be readjusted, the program aims to offer cash assistance for a certain period.
As of January 2022, the adjustment will be R$1,210.44 and will continue to be paid in 3 to 5 installments, according to each case.
According to all these changes, the Salary Cap is expected to be R$7,079.50. Being before BRL 6,433.57
