Credit line for truck drivers from Banco do Brasil
The launch, which took place at the headquarters of Banco do Brasil, was attended by President Jair Bolsonaro (PL) and the Minister of Economy, Paulo Guedes. BB's new line of credit comes at a time when the government is looking for ways to reduce the category's costs, which were severely impacted by the rise in gasoline prices.
Bolsonaro announced a R$400 aid package and, faced with the threat of a new strike, the president of the republic summoned his allies. This is one of the main reasons that justify the initiative, for the third time, aimed at truck drivers announced by the Jair Bolsonaro government in less than two months.
How it works?
To receive funds from the new BB credit line, the main criterion is that the driver must have a bank account and the transporter must have an agreement with Banco do Brasil.
This line of credit is known as Anticipa Freight, as the bank deposits the money up to 120 days in advance, but deducts a portion of this amount to cover interest, which is 1.79% per month. This benefit can be contracted through the Banco do Brasil application itself.
With this, truck drivers who need financial incentives can go to the bank quickly and practice through the application, and thus have access to the necessary resources for the maintenance of your work.
