Former US physics professor announces creation of time machine

Very present in the world of fiction and the subject of many studies in real life, time travel is one of the great obsessions of human beings. Over the years, scientists have been studying and debating the subject, but so far what we know is that it is not possible to go to the future or even go back to the past.

However, American physicist Ronald Mallet claims that time travel is indeed a reality and, for that, he has already built his own time machine.

Understanding Ronald Mallet's Time Machine

It was based on the theory of relativity developed by albert einstein that Ronald Mallet's time machine came to life. According to the theory, the relationship between space and time is not something static, but rather relative.

This means that time can vary according to the observer, a variation that depends directly on gravity, speed and space.

machine operation

Through the temporal distortion caused by black holes, the physicist developed a device that operates in a similar way. Practically, the machine is an artificial black hole, where there is a kind of laser that rotates continuously (in a loop).

The laser emits beams of light and, through this, the creation of a gravitational field that allows introducing more loops in time would become possible. With that, we would be able to travel back in time, however, without going that far.

Ronald's fixation on time travel

In 1955, when Ronald was 10 years old, his father had a heart attack and died. With that, the physicist developed a fission for the theme of time travel, whose objective was to go back to the past to save his father.

According to Ronald, the time machine does not allow to go that far

Even with the concept of time travel applied to the device, there is a limit to how far it is possible to go back in time through it. According to Ronald, it would only be possible to go back to the exact moment when the loop began to give a signal. That is, Ronald's machine would only allow him to go back to the year 2019.
