With the restrict function, the access of a certain Instagram account to the content of your profile is limited. Thus, stories, direct messages and comments on publications are not allowed.

How to activate the restrict function?
The function can be activated directly in the Instagram application available for Android and iOS smartphones, as well as in the web version.
To restrict someone, just go to the person's profile, in direct messages, comments left on Instagram or in your privacy settings and select the restrict option.
After activating the feature, the restricted person's account becomes invisible to you on Instagram, as well as to other followers. Messages sent in direct are in the “Requests” tab and published comments are visible only to the person himself.
If you are interested, the restricted person's comment on the platform or the direct messages can be viewed. However, the user will not know if you were aware of the content, because she is not notified about the restriction.
To remove the restriction from a profile, simply select the Restrict option in the Privacy Settings and remove the profile from the restricted users list.
