To encourage the growth of employability and boost the economy, the Federal Government created a series of measures to increase the purchasing power of Brazilians and generate income for the country. The actions will be carried out through the Ministry of Labor and Social Security (MTP) and foresees more than R$ 150 billion in investment. The Income and Opportunity Program — as the set of actions is called — has three provisional measures and a decree, see the benefits:

From now on, BPC/LOAS beneficiaries and people who receive the Brazil Aid will be able to payroll loan with lower interest rates, in addition, the payroll loan margin rises from 35% to 40%.

The expectation is that around BRL 77 billion will be loaned to this group, benefiting more than 50 million people.

Anticipation of the 13th salary

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the government has opted to anticipate the 13th salary of INSS retirees and pensioners. This measure has helped the economy that has been very damaged since 2020.
