The National Traffic Council (Contran) announced a series of benefits for good drivers. In this case, the idea is precisely to reward drivers and encourage greater attention when driving. Among the reward possibilities are the tax discount and tax improvements, and there are chances that the project will get off the ground in 2022.

National Positive Registry of Drivers
To better map exemplary drivers, Contran created the RNPC, which is the National Positive Drivers' Registry. To join this group, you must be a driver with no history of infringement for at least twelve months. In addition, it is important that the same authorizes the participation for the ranking.
This is another one of the changes that were defined in the change of the National Traffic Code. In addition to this measure, new deadlines for the renewal of CNH were also established, which rose from 5 to 10 years for most drivers. Not to mention the new CNH model, which also brings the benefit of having an authenticated digital copy for better citizen convenience.
What are the benefits?
It is not yet known, or at least not announced, all the advantages of being within the group of the National Positive Drivers' Registry. However, what is known so far is that these benefits will be related to the fiscal and tax sector. Therefore, there is a high chance that these drivers will receive discounts on taxes, such as the value of renewing their CNH.
Another possibility is the use of this advantage to obtain discounts on vehicle insurance, which can be a great saving for the citizen. According to the Federal Government, this measure should be implemented in a maximum of six months, so that the measure will probably be in force in 2022. Expectations revolve around the improvement of traffic accident rates, as a form of positive stimulus to better driving practices.
