The amount to be paid now refers to the average price of a 13kg cylinder of cooking gas over the last six months. Dividing by regions, the Northeast is where there are more beneficiaries of the Gas Aid, with about 2.7 million families contemplated, totaling a transfer of about R$ 146 million. Soon after is the Southeast region with 1.8 million families, North with 545 thousand, South with 356 thousand and Midwest with 178 thousand families benefited.
