This will be the first contest of this secretariat in 11 years. In the last selective, the State offered 250 vacancies for school and penitentiary surveillance agents and 250 for penitentiary agents.
The more than 500 vacancies will be for medium level, for the position of penitentiary inspector. There will also be a reserve register and quotas for black, indigenous and disabled people.
The starting salary for the position is BRL 3,107.65, plus food allowance in the amount of BRL 300. The total workload is 40 hours per week.
In addition to completing high school, the candidate must be at least 18 years old and National Driver's License (CNH) in categories B, C, D or E.

What will the new public tender in Espírito Santo be like?
The new public tender of ES will have six stages: objective test and writing, physical aptitude, health examination, psychotechnical examination, social investigation and training course.
The objective test will have 60 questions (35 of General Knowledge and 25 of Specific Knowledge), with the following disciplines: Portuguese Language, Logical Reasoning, Information Technology, Current Affairs, Criminal Law, Administrative Law, Human rights and Criminal Procedure, in addition to writing.
However, only those with more than 60% correct answers on the multiple-choice test will have their text corrected.
The Secretary of State for Justice of Espírito Santo has units in: Cariacica, Vila Velha, Viana, Serra, Guarapari, Linhares, Colatina, Cachoeiro de Itapemirim, Aracruz, Marataízes, São Domingos do Norte and São Mateus.
