Initially, the evaluation of the medical expertise of the National Institute of Social Security (INSS) will no longer be necessary to guarantee the release of the Aid. Now, the possibility of granting the benefit may undergo a documentary evaluation that proves the taxpayer's temporary incapacity.
This means is not very different from what was previously practiced, since the model was adopted during the years 2020 and 2021 as a result of the health restrictions caused by the pandemic. Thus, the measure will remain in force for this year, as published in the Official Gazette — Provisional Measure 1,113 on April 20.
