It all started during the pandemic. The 102-year-old lady decided to introduce something new to her residential located in the state of Nebraska, in the United States. Bailey began teaching exercise classes to her neighbors.
How did it all, in fact, start?
According to her, as no one could go out due to the covid-19 pandemic, she started the sessions at home. So, everyone stayed on her floor and the exercises ended up becoming a habit for everyone.
She said in an interview that she has been a fitness instructor for at least 15 years, and therefore she knows very well the limitations and restrictions of each one. However, she always encourages her colleagues to keep their pace.

Classes take place four times a week and have at least 12 students. The elderly woman reports that, among many other things, the sessions involve circular movements of the feet and arms.
Bailey prioritizes full-body movement. When the exercises begin at the top, she helps students bring their chin to their chest, then make circles with their head, then move on to their arms, legs, and back.
For people who have mobility restrictions, she recommends focusing on the knees and waist.
What is Bailey's physical activity history like?
Sean Tran, Director of Operations for the residential, tells, in a TV program, that Bailey always participated, of his own free will, in all the activities of the home. This is already about 14 years old.
The elderly woman always makes a point of ending classes with a motivational phrase. The last one was “The only way to multiply happiness is to share it with others”.
