Announced this year as a great novelty, the Voa Brasil program will offer airline tickets for R$ 200. To participate in this big discount, the program will have the help of the Azul, Gol and Latam companies, as informed by Márcio França (PSB), Minister of Ports and Airports.
The start of operations was announced for the second half of this year, with a scheduled launch date for August. According to France, the Federal Government needs to review some bureaucratic issues with the concessionaires responsible for the airports, although the three largest companies have already been confirmed.

Learn about the Voa Brasil program
The new social program seeks to bring low-cost airline tickets to a certain group of people. For the responsible minister, this is an offer directly from private companies.
Students from Fies (Student Financing Fund), public servants (municipal, state and with salaries of up to R$6,800), scholarship holders from any Ministry of Education (MEC) program, low-income families from the Single Registry (CadÚnico) and retirees.
It will be necessary to register in the program, and tickets will be issued directly by the airline responsible for the action. Beneficiaries will be able to access up to two annual tickets with the right to a companion for each trip.
According to Minister France, the project should reach around five million new Brazilian travelers, as was estimated. With this project, the Federal Government makes it possible to occupy up to 10% of the vacancies that remain unoccupied on flights, mainly vacancies that are not sold in the low season, in addition to democratizing access to the trip by airplane.
