The 10 countries that sell the cheapest beers in the world

The product comparison company HelloSafe Brasil carried out a survey where the countries that have the most expensive beers in the world are presented. The country in first place is the host of the next World Cup, Qatar. In this territory of the Middle East, a 330 ml bottle costs around R$ 34.76.

The country that contains the beer cheapest among all those listed is Burma. The same 330 ml bottle costs only R$ 1.31 in the country.

In 46th place is Brazil, where beer has an average price of R$ 6. to elaborate this ranking, the company took into account the average ticket for a 330 ml bottle of Heineken beer in stores and supermarkets in the 77 countries on the list.

According to the research done by HelloSafe Brasil, these are the 10 countries with the cheapest beers in the world:

• 1st – Burma: BRL 1.31 (68ranking position);
• 2nd – Ghana: BRL 3.08 (67ª ranking position);
• 3rd – Hungary: BRL 3.33 (66ª ranking position);
• 4th – Colombia: BRL 3.39 (65ª ranking position);
• 5th – Vietnam: BRL 3.74 (64ª ranking position);
• 6th – Netherlands: BRL 3.94 (63rd position in the ranking);
• 7th – Poland and Sri Lanka: BRL 4.14 (62ranking position);
• 8th – Serbia: BRL 4.19 (61ª ranking position);
• 9th – Nigeria: BRL 4.25 (60th ranking position);
• 10th – Cyprus and Bulgaria: BRL 4.35 (59ª ranking position).

Although 77 countries were listed, the ranking has only 68 positions. This happened due to the fact that nine countries are tied in certain positions, such as, for example, Cyprus and Bulgaria, which together occupy the 59th position.

Curiosities about Brazilian beers

Beer in Brazil is the 46th most expensive in the ranking, with its price hovering around R$6. If we analyze only the countries of Latin America, Brazil has the 4th cheapest beer among all the others, behind only Paraguay (R$ 5.66), Panama (R$ 5.01) and Colombia (R$ 3 ,39).

In Brazilian territory, according to the Prices to the Consumer Ample (IPCA), the price of the drink has been on the rise since October 2020.
