The broadcaster's secondary channel, BBC Two, should be responsible for producing the series. The news about this American order was given exclusively by the Deadline website.

“The broadcaster commissioned a three-part documentary about the controversial Brazilian leader Jair Bolsonaro,” says the site’s publication.

Details have not been released.

Despite already having a name, the series does not have other spoilers. The news is still preliminary and details about the content were not disclosed by the BBC.

However, the debut is scheduled for next year (2022), which also marks the election period in Brazil.

Other productions of a political nature must also appear in the BBC catalogue. Frida & Diego is one such production. This will show the life of Mexican Frida Kahlo and her relationship with Diego Rivera.

Despite still being in the idealization phase, the name may suggest that the series will go beyond the president. Names of this style usually deal with families and their members.

Netizens relate to The Sopranos

Netizens already create memes involving the suggestion of the name with another successful American series. The Sopranos (translation: Soprano Family) tells the story of an Italian-American mafia in the USA.

The series was created and broadcast by HBO between 2000 and 2007. It was a hit with the audience as it showed how the mafia criminal underworld worked.

Still in this line, another successful animated series is The Simpsons (The Simpsons). The name also makes reference to a family. However, this is a famous cartoon humor series. It is already possible to find banter in joking allusions to the BBC announcement.

The Bolsonaros, therefore, is still shrouded in mystery, but new information will soon be released. Until then, the way is to wait and see what the North American channel is preparing.
