A forbes has a list, updated daily, of the richest men in the world. The list is called Real-Time Billionaires, and, with the end of the year approaching, it's cool to check out the top 10 richest people in the world right now.
Some positions have changed, but the list still has a majority of Americans, despite the fact that the highest place on the podium does not include an American.

10. Steve Ballmer – $79.7 billion
Steven Anthony Balmer was one of the first hired by the giant Microsoft. The American worked his way up through the company, becoming CEO between 2000 and 2014. He also has stakes in the Los Angeles Clippers basketball team.

Nicknamed the Oracle of Omaha, the American has one of the most successful investment careers around the world.
04. Jeff Bezos – $111.1 billion
The American founded no less than Amazon. A tech enthusiast still owns the newspaper The Washington Post and space rocket development company Blue Origin.
03. Gautam Adani – $131.4 billion
Being the largest businessman in India, he owns stakes in various ventures such as green energy, ports, fuels and airports.

And finally, in first place, we have the Frenchman who now occupies Elon Musk's former position in the ranking. He is chief executive of LVMH, which owns luxury brands such as Louis Vuitton and Marc Jacobs.
