Find out about what's new on Netflix
Check out now how Netflix will release series and movies to be watched before launch:
Data collection program
By having a data collection program, Netflix wants to know, even before the release of series and movies, the opinion of its subscribers. This initiative started in December and tends to expand by around 400% in the coming months, thus increasing your likelihood of being chosen.
Netflix's interest in this expansion
It is evident that Netflix has an intention behind this novelty. The platform is focused on launching more successful and assertive content, and there is nothing better to achieve this goal than listening to the opinion of its own subscribers.
The idea arose after the platform went through a period of loss of subscribers, and now it will be able to perform a more careful evaluation and even make some adjustments before the dissemination of its contents.
How will Netflix choose these people?
The choice will be made through the Preview Club, which is a group of people selected to watch movies and series before launch.
It will be the platform itself that will invite its assistants to join this VIP group. Thus, they will be able to have an exclusive Netflix account, and will have to sign a non-disclosure agreement so as not to leak content information before launch.
Club participants will also respond to a questionnaire after finalizing the series and films to contribute to the quality of the material.
Despite not having a way to register yet, due to the success of this novelty with the movie Don’t Look Up, Netflix wants to expand it to all countries that have the platform. Thus, they increase their chances of success, since previously this test was only carried out in the U.S.
