partner stores
Partnerships are becoming more popular within bank applications, and Banco do Brasil has also brought this new virtual commerce to its platform. In the list of stores that BB included in its application, there are: Ponto, Casas Bahia, Extra, Droga Raia, Centauro, Cobasi, Dafiti, Dolce Gusto, Boticário and L’Occitane. In addition, the institution continues to rely on Amazon's partnership.
Through the bank's Twitter, it was informed that the bank's customers who made purchases with some of these representatives through the app's online store would receive cashback directly in their account chain. In addition, it is worth remembering that this benefit is only valid for purchases made online.
However, contracting subscription services, such as Prime Video and Kindle Unlimited, does not pay cashback. Within the bank application, it is also possible to consult the cashback statement on purchases in the store's cashback icon, by clicking on: Menu > Points and Advantages > Cashback on purchases.
Banco do Brasil and its marketplace
In the first months of launch, sales of non-banking products through the bank's app reached revenue of 100 million reais. The app is accessed daily, on average, by about 8 million customers and, with new partners, this number is likely to increase even more.
The application offers, in addition to the BB Store, gift cards and vouchers from partner companies. There are about 17 brands that encompass various services, including iFood, Uber and Spotify.
