The educational front of the bank Santander, called Santander Universities, opened registration for its scholarship program, called Santander We Overcome Together 2022. According to the institution, its objective is to help students who are facing financial difficulties to stay in university. Initially, it is necessary to specify that it is a financial aid for students with difficulty in maintaining themselves financially in private universities. In order to meet this objective, the scholarship will have a total value of 4 thousand reais, and the student can benefit in two ways.
Each winner will receive R$300, which can be used for academic purposes, such as hiring an internet package, buying books and the like. The remainder of the amount, corresponding to 3,700 reais, will be received by the university in the form of credit, which must be used to pay tuition fees and any debts of the recipient.
According to the bank itself, students from the 226 institutions selected throughout Brazil will be able to register for the scholarship. Among them are Anhanguera, UNIP and FACAMP, for example. In all, 1,500 individual scholarships will be offered.
To register, until September 13th, it will be necessary to fill out the form available on the website of the Santander Universities, where you can also access the list of all participants. In addition, the selection of the contemplated students will be carried out through a notice published by each university, which will take into account the academic excellence of each student, in addition to their condition of social vulnerability.
