One more of the giants of the financial sector arrives at the real estate financing market at the plant. This novelty arrives at the moment when the Federal Government announces the Casa Verde e Amarela program, and which signals the possibility of credit for the acquisition through the program. Furthermore, the Santander real estate financing will also work on the offer of credit for the purchase of apartments by Riva Incorporadora. However, other civil construction companies should close partnerships with the Santander group in the coming months.

Interest rate and amount of financing
There is still no definition as to the maximum amount of financing, however, it is known that at least R$ 264 thousand should be possible, since this is the maximum amount of financing for Casa Verde e Amarela. Bearing in mind that this new Federal Government program is aimed at building popular housing in the large urban centers of Brazil, and should start building properties this year.
As for the interest rate, it will be 9.46%, in addition to the reference rate, which is currently at 0.09%. According to Santander, the credit will only be available for the purchase of real estate from partner builders. The group is also working so that new companies, very soon, become part of the project.
Watching the real estate market
The interest in the real estate market is not so sudden, judging by the fact that Santander already worked with financing. This shows that the group is interested in expanding even more its participation in a sector that shows chances of growth in the coming years.
Even Santander itself already showed that it wanted to participate in this moment in the Brazilian economy. So much so that, last year, the granting of credit for the acquisition of properties rose by 29%. Not to mention the 22% increase in the physical portfolio, which now stands at R$52.2 billion.
