First of all it is important to know that your name must be pronounced according to the way you want it. However, sometimes we are curious to find out if there is another name in English that refers to ours, as well as its pronunciation by native English speakers. It is possible to use the Google translator to find out how to pronounce a name in English.

To do this, just click on your browser's search box and write Google Translate, then click on search and the respective website will open.

You can do this either on your computer or on your cell phone. On the mobile device, it is also possible to download the translator application.

With the website or application open, select “Portuguese” in the left corner and “English” in the right. Now just write your name in the topic referring to our language and click translate.

You will see in the right corner the “translation” of your name and to listen to the pronunciation just click on a small picture of the speaker in the same topic.
