What is Brazil Aid?
This initiative, managed by the Ministry of Citizenship (responsible for sending funds for payment), is an income transfer program (direct and indirect) aimed at families in situations of great poverty.
In addition, it aims to help these families across the country so that they can improve their conditions of extreme social vulnerability.
Who is responsible for paying this aid?
The benefit is distributed to these families through Caixa Econômica Federal, the government's official bank. With this, the Ministry of Citizenship selects people who meet the requirements of the program and the bank da Caixa performs the payment and provides service channels to resolve these queries people.
When this assistance is requested, an account is automatically opened in the name of the head of the family who will receive the benefit. However, it is not necessary to go physically to a Caixa branch, it is possible to do everything through the bank's application.
Step by step to withdraw the Brazil Aid through the Caixa application
- First download the Caixa application, open it and log in to your account;
- Then click on the “Withdrawal without card” option and select “Generate withdrawal code”;
- Then press “Generate code”, enter your Caixa Tem password and continue;
- Finally, go to an ATM or lottery and enter the numerical code that will appear on the cell phone screen;
Note: the generated code has a validity period of 1 hour, so do this procedure when you can make the withdrawal.
