The world's largest cryptocurrency exchange, Binance, announced on April 26 the launch of Binance Refugee Crypto Card, a credit card aimed at all Ukrainians, even non-Ukrainians platform.
The measure was taken, in short, to help refugees who had to leave their country of origin and migrate to the countries of the European Economic Area (EEA). Furthermore, the Binance card was created in partnership with the British digital payments company Contis, allowing refugees to make or receive payments in cryptocurrencies.

According to Binance Ukraine General Manager Kirill Khomyakov, so far, approximately four million people have already left Ukraine after the Russian invasion of the country. In addition to allowing refugees to transact, the Binance Refugee Card will allow “Ukrainians to obtain help from Binance and other charitable organizations and, if necessary, receive cryptocurrencies from other wallets”.
This idea, in addition to being innovative, is a humanitarian and emerging proposal, which, without shadow of a doubt, will make a big difference in this process through which the Ukrainian population is passing.
