The development of reading habits begins early. Therefore, it is important that parents read to children, so that the little ones grow up with an interest in the literary world.
Aiming to encourage this practice among children, McDonald's brought back its “Read and Play” campaign. In it, when buying a McLanche Feliz, consumers will be entitled to choose an illustrated book or toy from the campaign.

And if the reading initiative alone is great, then imagine if it came together with one of the most beloved groups in Brazil. Yes, we are talking about Turma da Mônica! Therefore, in partnership with Mauricio de Sousa Produções, McDonald’s will make books available with stories from the famous Brazilian comic book.
And this is not the brand's first partnership with children's productions. The first campaign took place in 2013, and to date there have been three editions, with writers such as Ziraldo, Vinicius de Moraes and Ana Maria Machado.
In addition, making the stories more interactive and interesting for children, using the McDonald's app, it is possible to make the story more participatory, with sounds activated when the reader speaks keywords in the stories.
