- H1N1

Very common among countries in Africa and Asia, rabies is a disease that still kills many people every year. In this case, the disease originated in animals such as cats and dogs that had contact with the Lyssavirus virus. Thus, transmission of the virus occurs through the saliva of infected animals. The disease can cause symptoms such as excess saliva, headache, mental confusion and fever.

This virus, which caused a catastrophic epidemic, mainly in African countries, is also contagious through infected animals. Chimpanzees, bats and gorillas were some of the animals through which the disease reached humans.
- HIV
Before reaching humans, HIV first emerged in a community of chimpanzees. Therefore, the scientific community points out that the consumption of meat from these animals caused the first infections in humans in the fourteenth century. However, currently transmission occurs through unprotected sexual intercourse, in addition to contamination by direct contact with blood with the virus.
