These are the IPVA billing dates for each state

Every beginning of the year, in addition to the feeling of renewed energy and the planning for new goals, there is also a series of of slips to be paid and that money from the Christmas bonus ends up being used to settle all these accounts. Among them, drivers have the IPVA (Tax on Motor Vehicle Ownership). It is a fee charged annually and, for each state, there are different due dates. Check the expiry date below. There is the possibility of a discount on the total amount if the driver chooses to pay in a single installment. About the installment, it will vary according to the State. See below the schedule for payment of IPVA according to each State and the DF and pay attention to the end of your card according to the dates, bearing in mind that the dates below refer to the single quota and/or first installment.

Regardless of the end of the board:

  • Amapá: 15/03
  • Ceará: Single quota 01/31, first installment 02/10
  • Mato Grosso: With discount until 22/05
  • Mato Grosso do Sul: Maturity 01/31
  • Piauí: until 01/31 single quota, first 03/31
  • Rio Grande do Sul: payment in installments until 01/31
  • Tocantins: maturity 10/16

Double sequence of plates (single quota or 1 quota)

  • Alagoas: February to June - Maturity of the single quota or first installment on the last working day of the month referring to the end of the card;
  • Federal District: 02/13 to 02/17;
  • Holy Spirit: 04/24 to 04/28;
  • Maranhao: 06/03 to 30/03;
  • Minas Gerais: 03/13 to 03/17;
  • Paraná: 01/19 to 01/25;
  • Pernambuco: 08/02 to 28/02;
  • Large northern river: 10/03 to 12/06.

Following the order of the plates from 1 to 0

  • Acre: January to August (last working day of the month referring to the end of the plate – Plates 1 and 2 paid in Jan; 3 and 4 February);
  • amazon: March to October (last working day of the month referring to the end of the plate – Plates 1, 2 and 3, paid in March);
  • Bahia: March to July – Maturity of the single quota or first installment in the last two working days of the month referring to the end of the card;
  • Goiás: 09/01 to 20/01;
  • Paraíba: January to October (last working day of the month referring to the end of the plate);
  • For: 06/01 to 27/09;
  • Rio de Janeiro: 01/23 to 02/03;
  • Rondônia: January to August (Plates 1, 2 and 3, paid in January);
  • Santa Catarina: 01/10 to 10/10;
  • Sergipe: April to November (last working day of the month referring to the end of the plate);
  • São Paulo: 11/01 to 24/01.
