To write well, preparation is necessary even before watching the movie. Check out our tips how to do a movie review.

Get ready and watch the movie

First, it is important to watch the film carefully, analyzing all the elements. Find out about the topic, the directors, producers, and the context in which it was made.

Preferably, watch the work more than once so you don't miss any details. Write down your thoughts about the movie, the characters, key moments, and whatever else you feel is necessary.

study the theme

To understand the whole context surrounding the film, study the topic. If you know how the

historical events portrayed, who are the characters, the places and other characteristics, will have a review that includes knowledge not detailed in the narrative.

Another tip is to also study the vision of the directors and actors, since their interpretation influences the message that the film conveys.

organize and write

There are two types of reviews, the descriptive, which highlights the film, and the critical, in which you can include your interpretation and opinion. Make your review as requested.

A review must have introduction, development and conclusion. In the introduction, present all the information about the film and the subjects portrayed. In development, try to explain the plots and the vision of those involved in the creation.

Then, in conclusion, write about the strengths and difficulties that the film provided, as well as your opinion, if it is appropriate to include it.
