How will the discreet exit of WhatsApp groups work?

A message posted on WhatsApp's official website last week suggested that a group's opt-out option would be reduced in disclosure. They say that when you leave the group, only you and the admin will be notified.

That way, when the user decides to leave a group conversation, the following message will appear on the screen: “Only you and the group administrators will be notified that you left the group.”.

When will the new feature be available?

This update is in the development and beta testing phase of WhatsApp. However, it should be rolled out to a large user base soon. This is the standard process for any new tool that the platform offers its users.

Thus, we know that it is always necessary to do a series of tests with the developers and who has access to the beta. The good news is that most tests are not released until they are on the release path. So take heart, because you could go unnoticed after leaving a group soon.

That way, the need to justify yourself about why you left the group will end. Furthermore, those users who are more teasing will have less opportunity to comment on your departure and create rumors about it.

Another novelty of the app: support via chat within the application!

WhatsApp started testing a feature in January that would allow you to contact a representative of the app to resolve some of your issues. Today this news is already available to all users in the beta version, who really liked the update.

You can find this option in the messenger settings, more specifically by clicking on “Help” within the menu. Thus, the answer is given through a chat that is opened within the platform itself.
