The possibility of building a new reality in the metaverse fills the eyes of many people. The idea of being able to build yourself the way you want, with capabilities that are impossible in the real world, creates different expectations. The Immortality of the Metaverse

The idea may seem very strange, but it is not about transferring the human person's consciousness to his virtual reality. The idea is to capture voice, gestures and everything that characterizes the real person to keep them existing in the metaverse.

This idea may seem strange, but it is not new. In the movie Player Number 1, for example, there is an immortal character. Thus, the creator of the main game remains existing in the metaverse thought by the film until the end of the game.

Artur Sychov, founder and CEO of Somnium Space, says the goal is for people to continue interacting with others, even after their death. However, it will be nothing more than a character in a virtual reality.

How will this universe be created?

To create these people, the company says it will need to capture a large amount of data from them. Sychov estimates that it will be possible to capture data from 100 to 300 people in the metaverse.

However, the tool is still somewhat speculative, since it is not known how much data will be possible. The questions are only regarding how this data collection will be established, but the CEO of Somnium Space stated that the person's digital creation, with data collection, will only be done in a ethic.

Thus, it will only happen with the consent of individuals, and through a payment to guarantee security. With that, if one day you want to have your immortal version in the metaverse, all you have to do is pay. If you do not wish, you will never have your data collected for this service.
