Check now the main news of the Bolsa Família program that brings some news, not eliminating the old aid of BRL 600.00 per family:
start of payment
The recent inauguration of the new president of Brazil took place on January 1, 2023 and despite already having the Bolsa Família proposal approved, the government had not yet released the official payment schedule for the program. However, it is expected that this payment will begin in January, as it has already been informed that a new registration of families will not be necessary.
That is, families that are registered in the Auxílio Brasil program will be automatically registered to receive the Bolsa Família, it being only necessary that they have up-to-date registrations in the Registration single (CadÚnico).
However, the payment schedule for the program was released and it starts on January 18, 2023. Payments will be made according to the end of each Social Identification Number (NIS).
Bolsa Familia Rules
It is expected that the Bolsa Família rules will be stricter than the Auxílio Brasil rules, as will require families to submit their children's school attendance and proof of vaccination updated. In cases of non-compliance with the determinations, these families may have their benefit suspended or even cancelled.
Another important requirement is related to pregnant women. They needed to carry out prenatal consultations correctly according to the Ministry of Health. Children and adolescents between 6 and 15 years old must have at least 85% of school attendance. Young people between 16 and 17 must have at least 75% proven attendance.
