2 home methods to make your hair grow
green tea tonic
Made from a medicinal plant (Camellia sinensis), the green tea tonic is rich in catechins. This substance helps to improve blood circulation and oxygenation in the scalp, in addition to increasing nutrients for the hair, consequently stimulating its growth.
Ingredients
- 1 sachet of green tea or 1 handful of green tea leaves;
- 1 cup of boiling water.
Method of preparation
First, add the green tea bag or leaves to a cup, add boiling water and let it steep for 10 minutes. Finally, strain and let cool.
How to use?
Wash your hair with shampoo, rinse and apply the homemade green tea tonic to your scalp, massage and let it act for 30 minutes. After that, rinse your hair and use your usual conditioner.
rice water
Rice water contains a carbohydrate, called inositol, which can repair damaged hair. This substance strengthens your hair roots, making them smooth and silky. Also, it can control hair loss to some extent.
Ingredients
- Water (necessary for cooking);
- Rice (as much as you like)
Method of preparation
Make your rice as normal (no condiments) and add more water than necessary. When the rice is cooked, strain the excess water into a glass and let it cool.
The ideal thing is that you let it ferment overnight, as it is richer in antioxidants, minerals and vitamin E. You can also add a few drops of essential oils such as rosemary, lavender, or tea tree for added benefits.
How to use?
Do a normal wash, then pour the rice water over the scalp and massage gently. Let it act for approximately 5 minutes, and finally rinse with lukewarm or cold water.
Note: Only do this process once or twice a week.
