Servers of the Central Bank (BC) decided to maintain the strike this Thursday (26). The decision surprised the federal government, which expected the category to accept the 5% readjustment. offered, as well as the medical experts and employees of the Instituto Nacional do Seguro Social (INSS). However, BC officials did not choose the same path and decided to maintain the strike movement. There were no definitions in the last statement from the Central Bank on the subject.

How is the schedule for the release of the second phase of the SVR?

According to a recent statement from the BC, the development schedule for improvements to the Receivables System was hampered by the strike by the institution's employees. Thus, the return date of the SVR, which was scheduled for May 2, has been postponed again. The new date will be announced with due notice.

Central Bank estimates indicate that there are more than R$ 8 billion forgotten by Brazilian citizens in financial institutions, with only R$ 3.9 billion transferred in the first phase. In this sense, the money that still needs to be returned would be released in the second moment, which, however, had to be postponed and does not have a set return date.
