ChatGPT and the extinction of professions
The fact is that, even if many professions remain in the labor market, many companies and workers will have to adapt, according to surveys, since about 60% of the professions evaluated, AIs could easily assume at least 30% of tasks.
The impact of these new technologies is even recognized by one of its protagonists: ChatGPT itself. “Artificial intelligence has the potential to impact many professions in different sectors of the economy,” said the software itself, in an interview with the Money Times.
Below we list four areas that will be affected by artificial intelligence and we will give some advice on how to maintain employment in the face of changing times, and cited professions that may be created by the increasing adoption of AIs.
Professions that will be affected by artificial intelligence
- Customer service: With chatbots and virtual assistants, Artificial Intelligence helps to automate and streamline the serving customers in a variety of industries, including retail, healthcare and services financial.
- Accounting and Finance: Artificial intelligence can help automate routine tasks like account reconciliation, analyzing company financial data and processing monthly payments.
- Juridic services: AI can be used to do legal document analysis, case law research, and other activities that require a detailed analysis of large volumes of information and documents legal.
- Marketing and advertising: Can be dominated by artificial intelligence as it can be used to create personalized advertising campaigns based on customer data, analysis of current trends and consumer preferences, making the entire service more assertive and dynamic.
But it is important to point out that Artificial Intelligence will not completely replace these professions. Instead, AI can help automate routine and repetitive tasks, thus allowing professionals in these areas to focus on more complex and strategic tasks.
Furthermore, AI can create new job opportunities for many people in technology-related areas such as AI development and data science.
