'Barbie' movie predicted to boost Mattel profits…
Since 2019, when they were announced, the films have generated several false and outrageous news. The first would be that part of the profit from the works would go to Suzane. This statement is very far from being true.
Did Suzane Von Richthofen receive for the films?
No, the accused of having her parents killed did not receive any profit sharing from the films. All parties involved have now denied this false claim. Incidentally, Suzane did not participate in any stage of production or in any other phase of the project.
The script was produced by Ilana Casoy and Raphael Montes, creators of Good Morning Veronica, on Netflix. The films were directed by Mauricio Eça.
The entire plot of both films was created through reports by Suzane and Daniel Cravinhos. These reports are the same used by Justice at the time.
Two films were created due to the divergences of each of the stories told. One reports Suzane's version, while the other shows Daniel's vision.
Lei Rouanet sponsored the films of the Suzane Von Richthofen case?
This is another fake news circulating on the internet. However, the films were not produced with resources from the Rouanet Law.
The features were made by Santa Rita Filmes, Galeria Distribuidora and Grupo Telefilms. The broadcast was on account of the streaming platform Amazon Prime Video.
The financial resources used were raised through totally private investment. No public funds were spent on production.
Case Suzane Von Richthofen
In 2002, Manfred Albert von Richthofen and Marísia von Richthofen were murdered. The couple was killed by the Cravinhos brothers (Daniel and Cristian). The victims' own daughter was the one who planned and ordered the execution: Suzane Von Richthofen.
The girl was Daniel Cravinhos' girlfriend since 1999. The young people's courtship had no support from family members, especially from Suzane's parents. They even forbade her to meet her boyfriend.
Suzane, her boyfriend and his brother then planned the death of the Richthofen couple. They simulated robbery and one of the objectives was to share the rich inheritance that Suzane would receive.
On October 31, 2002, the daughter opened the doors of the mansion and allowed the Cravinhos to enter. Manfred and Marísia were killed with sledgehammer blows to the head.
At the time, the crime shocked Brazil and investigations began. Initially, it was believed that the case was a robbery, but soon the truth came out. The commotion was so great that TV Justiça considered broadcasting the trial live.
