Tips on how to use Coca-Cola to clean the house
- To clean the bottom of burnt pans
Forgetting the food in the pan with the fire on, or leaving the heat too high when sautéing food, tends to always leave a little burnt food at the bottom of the pan. However, using the right technique, it's super easy to save them.
To do this, place a cup of Coca-Cola (or a little more, depending on the size) in the pan in question and place it over low heat. Let it warm up for about 20 minutes. The acidity of this soda will melt all the dirt. After one wash, your pan will be brand new!
- To clean traces of rust
Combining Coca-Cola with a little salt and lemon juice is the perfect combination. In addition to removing rust, they also remove chrome. If they are small objects, dip them in a basin with this solution. Then simply scrub using aluminum foil. The secret here is to get the object immersed.
- To clean wood stains
Stains on wooden furniture are often very difficult to remove. However, when using Coca-Cola, this task becomes much easier. Just apply a little product on the stain and rub with the soft side of the sponge. Once that's done, it's important to rinse a lot afterwards, so as not to cause a new stain.
