As fuel prices are sky-high, many people are looking to find out how to save fuel. As a result, several not very viable alternatives end up appearing and discouraging those looking for the clearest way. However, what they don't know is that all along the answer was in a simple button present in their cars. The use of this tool requires a lot of moderation in order to protect the lives of the driver and passengers. From now on, check out how to reduce fuel costs.

What many don't know is that every car model that has an air conditioner has a button that solves problems with fuel. The economy button helps in reducing fuel consumption and is often simply ignored.
The unknown tool is called a recirculation button, whose function is to block the entry of ambient air inside the car (only possible with all the windows closed). That is, the air inside the vehicle itself is cooled, avoiding the process of using outside air.
In order to reach the selected temperature, the internal air is cooled successively, causing the temperature to decrease more quickly and the compressor to be activated less. Since every time the compressor operates, the combustion engine works harder and ends up consuming more fuel. That is, the less use of the compressor, the lower the fuel consumption.

Although the button helps to reduce the amount of fuel used by the air conditioning, which can reach 10% more, its moderate use is essential. Due to no air entering the interior of the vehicle, the incidence of foggy windows on days when the air conditioning temperature is higher than the outside temperature increases significantly.
That is, the driver's vision is fatally impaired, causing the chances of accidents to increase exacerbately. In addition, the breathing of the occupants of a car with recirculation activated is drastically affected, since there is no air renewal.
However, some current models control the time the button is used, in order to reduce risks. Therefore, some have sensors capable of detecting when the windows are fogging up and others limit the function's activity time.
