Many universities and colleges around the world required proof of vaccination against COVID-19 as a requirement for freshman enrollment in the entrance exam. “It is no longer mandatory to prove the vaccination cycle against Covid-19 to attend classes, but Unicamp's Scientific Committee for the Contingency of the Coronavirus recommends strict compliance of the vaccination schedule and the continuity of insertion of vaccination data in the systems of the Academic Board (DAC) and the Board General Office of Human Resources (DGRH), respectively, with the aim of carrying out epidemiological surveillance of the disease on their campuses”, says the

The change occurred after the state government decided, last Wednesday (15), to prohibit the vaccine passport requirement in public and private establishments, including educational institutions. “Unicamp's rectory informs that it will initiate studies aimed at adapting the university to the recent decree of the state government.”, said the institution this Thursday. The norm existed since 2021.
Freshman enrollment began on February 7. As for the use of a mask, which was mandatory, the requirement is still being studied. Check out some important dates:

- 23/02: online registration of the 3rd call
- 23 and 24/02: declaration of interest by vacancy (online)
- 28/02: disclosure of the list of summoned for the 4th call
- 01/03: 4th call online registration
- 02/03: start of classes (face-to-face)
The university has around 35,000 students enrolled in undergraduate and graduate courses, in addition to 1,934 professors and 6,489 employees.
