The user will be able to use the tool to enter the Detran system, previously registered with a password and login, to be able to consult the documentation and renew the CNH.
Drivers will also be able to check the fines received in the license, the main data of the vehicle, license and will have the chance to update the documents. The platform is now available for Android and iOS users.

This is not the first time that the Detran of the city of Rio de Janeiro has revolutionized in the technological field. In 2021, they launched the “Identidade Digital RJ” application, which allows access to the identification of citizens over 18 years of age, at least for those who issued the document from 2019. “The launch of the Posto Digital Detran-RJ app is part of improving the quality of service to users, both at Detran posts and through digital means. During my tenure, we have already launched a series of digital services, and what is new now is that the Posto Digital can also be accessed by cell phone”, said Adolfo Jonder, the president of Detran in Rio de January.
Drivers will be able to access the IPVA and DPVAT licensing to check for outstanding debts and what was the last regularization of the document with the agency. The Vehicle Licensing Registration Certificate (CRLV-e), the annual car license, will also be available for consultation. The novelty also allows drivers to start the process of transferring the vehicle in the “Intention to sell – request” tab.
