Number of vacancies for Fies 2022
Fies was created in 2001 to offer opportunities to people who are unable to pay for a private college on a monthly basis, and for another year, the MEC will grant many vacancies in the sector.
Thus, for the first semester of 2022, Fies will have 66,555 vacancies, and in the second semester it will have 44,370 benefits, totaling 110,925 vacancies between 2022 and 2024.
However, be aware of the program conditions before enrolling, the schedule and the necessary documents!
Requirements to access Fies
First, you must have taken the National High School Examination (ENEM) and have obtained a score equal to or greater than 450 and the essay score cannot be zero. In addition, the student must have a guarantor and a family income of up to 3 minimum wages per capita.
Fies 2022 Schedule
Although the number of vacancies has already been disclosed, the funding schedule has not yet been established. But remember to pay attention to the application and enrollment deadlines!
- Enrollment
Enrollment usually takes place in the two semesters of the year and before the start of classes. To register, you need to access the Fies portal within the period determined by the schedule and fill in all the required fields.
- Registration
Enrollment is only done after selection and you will need an original photo ID, proof of residence and proof of income, such as a bank statement, income tax return or paycheck.
- Payment
To pay for the loan, then the student must issue a monthly bill online on the site of the guarantor bank. And this year a new rule was implanted. If the student has a monthly family income of less than 3 minimum wages, Fies will not charge interest.
